TROUBLESHOOTING

BLOWN FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.

TURN.

ICE DISPENSES CONTINUOUSLY.

SLUSHY ICE. WATER IN HOPPER.

AGITATOR TURNS, AUGER DOES NOT TURN.

AUGER TURNS, AGITATOR DOES NOT.

CAUTION:

Should your unit fail to operate properly, check that there is power to the unit and that the hopper contains ice. If the

unit does not dispense, check the following chart under the appropriate symptoms to aid in locating the defect.

Trouble Probable Cause

A. Short circuit in wiring.

. Defective 24 VAC transformer

C. Defective agitator motor

D. Shorted motor

AGITATOR DOES NOT TURN, AUGER DOES NOT A. No power.

B. Bent depressor plate (does not actuate switch).

C. Defective dispensing switch.

D. Defective interlocks, lids not closed.

E. Defective timer board

F. Defective 24 VAC transformer.

A. Stuck or bent depressor plate (does not release

itch).

C. Improper switch installation.

A. Blocked drain.

C. Poor ice quality due to water quality or icemaker prob-

lems.

D. Improper use of flaked ice.

A. Defective auger motor.

. Defective or improper setting of speed control.

D. Ice jam.

E. Defective timer board.

A. Defective agitator motor.

. Defective motor capacitor.
